Bohemian apartment / atelier / terrace-loft
Ground-floor apartment in Myrthengasse
Located barrier free in the ground-floor, this 155m² large loft-like apartment offers a ceiling height of 4m, real wood parquet floor and a generous greened 55m²-patio-terrace, which can be entered from all rooms. This originally commercial area was used earlier as a printer company and then got converted to a loft-like old apartment. From the old L-shaped main room 2 centrally reachable bedrooms and an entree were separated. The noble and generous entrance room separates the wet rooms from the living area: a modern bath room offers a bathtube, a shower, a double vanity and sailboat-floor, two toilets, a large storage room with washing machine port.
The living area includes a modern, fully equipped Bulthaup-kitchen and enough space for office/atelier premises and/or a spacious living area. This apartment has two doorways – one of them is closed at the moment but can be opened again – and heated with central heating system. A cellar compartment as well as a buggy and bicycle room are in the house – all of them and also the garage can be reached by elevator. A rentable parking space is optionally possible € 140, - monthly).
Location and Infrastructure
The Myrthengasse is close to Spittelberg, Volkstheater and Museumsquartier. It's located in the middle of the artists´ quarter in the 7th district. Named (1862) like the shrub Myrthe, whose flowers were traditionally used for the bridal crown, just in the 19th century was the Mythengasse getting wider; a row of houses in this period are still preserved. The location offers a great local supply, good travel connections as well as abundant supply of cultural activities, catering trade, cafés and bars.
- bus 48A, two stops to metro (U3)
